I gave up on the Treo after a few days. Maybe I got a bad battery but I couldn’t go a day without plugging into the charger two or three times. Mail didn’t work half the time, and took forever to sync. I couldn’t find the simple, useful functions like Call Log that I use so frequently on my cheapo Nokia. So I sent the Treo back. Gonna try a BlackBerry, should show up this week.

Uh, just press the green “phone” button without dialing any numbers, it’ll pop up a list of recently dialed numbers, and at the top of the list, two options: Dial Pad and Call Log.

  2. Right, I got that. But the Nokia has several subcategories: dailed calls, received calls, missed calls. From all of these you select a number and add it to the call list. On my phone there was no Call log at the top of the list, and it wasn’t in the full list of apps either.

I couldn’t figure out how to do this on the Treo. Also, on my phone there was no Call log at the top of the list, and it wasn’t in the full list of apps either.

  4. I’m sure you will anyway, but I’ll put in a vote for you to share your experiences with the Blackberry. I’ve used one in the past and didn’t really like it. I had been using a PalmOS device for 3-4 years before trying the BB and have been using a Tre0 600 since. It has almost given up the ghost and a new 650 has just arrived.

    Too bad about your battery.
