Some fodder for the next audioblog. I just figured out how to reproduce a bug that appeared on a production server after I made some optimizations to .LRN’s internationalization subsystem. There were 60,000 requests in the twenty-four hours that the optimizations were live. Of these, 55 resulted in errors. Now I can generate the errors on our dev server. But now my browser is set for Chinese/Simplified [zh-tw] as its preferred language.

Adam and Dave talk about presidential politics for a part of the show. It reminded me of a sign, pictured right, that I came across while driving on Cape Code a couple of weeks ago. The line of sight in the photo is a bit oblique, so it might be hard to read. The sign says “No Trespassing, Golfers Only”.
Mícheál Ó Foghlú calls it “RSSifying a directory.” Perfect.
