Oh, hey, I was doing a sweep of the Bay Area for new placeblogs and found 2-3 new Alameda blogs yesterday. So keep checking in! There’s an OPML file you can download at every level (state, city, etc) so you can have one-stop subscribing to keep tabs on local stuff.
