On order: McVitie’s biscuits. We went kind of nutty for these while on vacation in Iceland. They have them in every gas station mini-mart and grocery store over there. In the USA you have to seek them out at specialty catalog sites.

McVities kick ass. And you can get them here — they sell them at Farmer’s Bounty in Davis Square, and also at Cardullo’s in Harvard Square. Sometimes, but not always, they have them in what my husband calls the Irish Food Ghetto at Star Market on Mt Auburn St. Don’t know if they stock them at other Star/Shaw’s. Star only carries the kind that have chocolate on them, though, and I prefer the plain ones…

While you’re at Farmer’s Bounty, try out a British Mars bar, they’re good over here, in the US they really have no reason to exist.
